In 2012, expect a high number of broadleaf weeds to appear in even the healthiest of lawns. Reasoning for this is that the ground never stayed frozen for a long period of time over the winter. Herbicide applications at specific intervals as directed by the manufacturer on the product label will help keep these weeds at bay and under control.
